Evil fucking key.

OK I just got finished typing the most kickass blog entry ever. It was funny, contained the meaning of life, and had a nice odor. Will you ever get to read it? Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

I found out that if you accidentally hit the "Esc" key while typing your blog that it erases EVERYTHING. That's just fucking awesome. Whoever that designed that "feature" can suck my ass.

Hey NJ! Did you get your DSL crap figured out yet?!? ;)

BTW, whoever that thought up half nekkid Thursdays is a friggin genious. There's nothing better than real women showing some skin.

6th time is hell.

1st, 2nd, 3rd...OK I can tolerate that. This is the 6th time THIS YEAR that I've come down with a friggin cold. WTF!?! I came down with a small cold shortly after my last blog entry. It only lasted about 3 days. Now, barely 2 weeks later, I've come down with a really bad head cold. I've only had it for a day and a half and I've gone through and entire box of kleenex. This makes me wonder why...

The last time that I got a cold, I took my sister's advice and tried some of that "airborne" stuff. It is a tablet that dissolves in water that has an insane amount of vitamins in it. Did that stuff really help? Yeah, it was the shortest cold that I've had in a long time. BUT, by not beating the last cold "on my own" did I set somehow myself up for the current one? I dunno.

I do know that I need a new friggin job. One that doesn't involve any work in grade schools. I swear, it is like clockwork. After working on a job for more than a day at a school, I can count on coming down with a cold. High schools and colleges aren't that bad. At least people high school age and up will usually stay home when they're sick. Grade schools, nope. I think that only aggrivates the problem. You get all of these little kids together with every kind of cold known to man and something evil is brewed up. The kids' immune systems can tolerate a "normal" cold, so they get one of the harsher colds going around. A normal guy like me walks in and WHAM, I have no chance. Just my theory.

Screw this. I'm going back to sleep. I feel like azzzzzzzzz....

Reality Check

To MTV producers:

Let's have some fun. Let's throw somebody's Super Sweet 16 Party in the lobby of the Wisconsin State Fair Park Youth Housing lobby. It would be great! They can all wear their $2k dresses at their $150k party while 900 people who lost everything they own walk by. Oh yeah, the $20k music act could play in the lobby too.

HEY! You could also hit Shaq up on the next episode of cribs. I'm sure that his $18 million, 25 room mansion could help out quite a few homeless families. Heck, they could all have their own Bentley to drive around.

...sigh...

These shows drive me nuts. Does anyone actually watch that crap?!? It just depresses me. To watch someone walk through their $10million SUMMER HOME. WTF? Someplace where you stay once-in-a-while?!?

Donate your money you worthless pieces of shit!!!!

Lets do some math... $10,000,000 would pay for a $1000/month apartment for a year for 833 families. Get 50 celebs to donate that and you've got housing for 170,000 people. WOW.

Jones'in for some Danko

On Saturday I had the pleasure of seeing the best concert EVER. NJ, my roommate, and myself went to see Danko Jones at a small local bar called Mad Planet. Everything about Danko was kickass. The sound and stage presence were incredible. I have never been to a concert that sounded soo damn good. It was truely amazing.

I've seen Nonpoint quite a few times. They played twice in the Rave Basement. With 4X the gear and I'm sure 8X the equipment, Danko still sounded better. I would even say it rivals my all time favorite concert... Megadeth. In the fall of '01 after the 9-11 attacks, Megadeth played in the Rave. It was 3 hours of audio kickassedness. Sound quality, stage presence, audience, everything.

My only regret was not getting the band's signatures. I should have gone with NJ but instead I was making an attempt to sober up. I'm still kicking myself for it. I have a feeling the next time that I get a chance to see them, they will be HUGE. NJ even got a chance to talk with them enough to hear them say "aboot" a few times. LOL! Kickass Canuks.

Bottom line... If you like rock, go see Danko. You will not regret it.

BTW, I ended skipping out of work on Friday. That shaved 8 hours of OT off of my check. I will have to make due with 46 hours of OT on this upcoming check. LOL!
